First Sold Art Piece

Mediums used: Graphite pencils and Charcoal
You’ll have three pieces of paper: one head, one torso, and a lower body – and they’re supposed to connect. You’ll be creating these pieces to be in a local art show where they have the potential to be purchased separate from each other i.e. (a head can be purchased separate from the torso and lower body.) One of my three pieces sold: the head!
The hippo head was sold before I arrived at the art show, but it was the first art piece I’ve ever made that’s sold in an art show, so that’s pretty cool! It wasn’t for much – $25, but it made me happy. That’s what pushed me to pursue art somehow, to where I could get paid for drawing, designing, or just creating in general; however, it better be for more $25 because I swear that hippo head is worth more than $25 to me! Haha.
